About Meagan Shaw
Meagan is a first year student at Emory University. Her interests include music, napping, and being an awesome friend. She is considering majoring in psychology and is interested in childhood education and development.

Meagan is an African American woman who was born and raised in Georgia. She has attended a wide variety of schools growing up, adding to her experience with Ebonics. In her interview, she explores the discrimination surround her speech, and how she was often accused of "talking white" because she did not use Ebonics much.
